To achieve its objectives CambPlants works closely with the University's Strategic Research Initiatives, such as Global Food Security, Cambridge Conservation Initative and SRNs, Cambridge Science and Policy and the Bioscience Impact Team from the School of Biological Sciences, among other internal and external networks. Public engagement
Public understanding of science is of vital importance. We like to get the word out that plant research helps solve global issues, such as secure supplies of food, energy and materials, and how it benefits agriculture, horticulture, forestry and environmental conservation.
